sabakuningannews.com.KUNINGAN – Menteri Kebudayaan RI Fadli Zon melakukan kunjungan kerja ke Gedung Sjahrir pada Jumat (3/4/2026). Dalam kunjungan tersebut, pemerintah memastikan gedung bersejarah itu akan segera direvitalisasi pada tahun ini sebagai bagian dari pelestarian warisan budaya nasional.
Gedung Sjahrir memiliki nilai historis tinggi dalam perjalanan diplomasi Indonesia, khususnya saat Perundingan Linggarjati. Bangunan ini diketahui pernah menjadi tempat tinggal Sutan Sjahrir selama proses perundingan berlangsung, serta sempat disinggahi oleh tokoh penting seperti Soekarno dan Mohammad Hatta.
“Rumah ini sangat bersejarah, menjadi tempat beristirahat para tokoh saat perundingan Linggarjati. Kita berharap ini bisa kita revitalisasi dan ditingkatkan statusnya menjadi cagar budaya nasional,” ujar Fadli Zon.
Ia menegaskan, proses revitalisasi akan dilakukan melalui kolaborasi lintas sektor, melibatkan Kementerian Kebudayaan, Pemerintah Daerah, hingga para ahli pelestarian budaya. Targetnya, revitalisasi Gedung Sjahrir dapat diselesaikan dalam tahun 2026.
Kunjungan tersebut turut dihadiri oleh Bupati Kuningan Dian Rachmat Yanuar, Wakil Bupati Tuti Andriani, jajaran Forkopimda, Sekda, serta kepala dinas terkait.
Bupati Dian menyampaikan bahwa kunjungan ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari audiensi sebelumnya di Jakarta. Ia menilai, Kabupaten Kuningan memiliki kekayaan sejarah yang besar namun belum sepenuhnya dikembangkan secara optimal.
“Kita punya historical depth yang luar biasa. Alhamdulillah hari ini terealisasi, ini menjadi langkah awal percepatan pengembangan budaya di daerah,” ujarnya.
Selain Gedung Sjahrir, pemerintah juga mendorong revitalisasi sejumlah situs budaya lainnya seperti Museum Linggarjati, Taman Purbakala Cipari, serta Gedung Kesenian Kuningan. Bahkan, Pemkab Kuningan tengah merancang pembangunan ikon baru berupa Museum Angklung pertama di daerah tersebut.
Menurut Bupati, revitalisasi situs sejarah tidak hanya penting untuk pelestarian, tetapi juga berdampak strategis bagi masa depan daerah.
“Selain sebagai wahana edukasi bagi generasi muda, ini juga akan memperkuat Kuningan sebagai destinasi wisata sejarah dan budaya, baik di tingkat nasional maupun internasional,” tambahnya.(*)
