sabakuningannews.com, KUNINGAN – Pemerintah Kabupaten Kuningan terus memacu percepatan terbentuknya Koperasi Desa Merah Putih (KDMP) melalui rapat koordinasi (Rakor) etape 2 yang digelar Dinas Koperasi, UKM, Perdagangan, dan Perindustrian (Diskopdagperin), Kamis (4/9/2025). Rapat yang dipimpin langsung oleh PLT Kadiskopdagperin, Dr. Elon Charlan, dihadiri Wakil Bupati Kuningan, Tuti Andriani, serta 32 camat se-Kabupaten Kuningan.
Dr. Elon Charlan menjelaskan, saat ini hampir 90% koperasi desa merah putih telah terbentuk di Kuningan, tersebar di 361 desa dan 15 kelurahan. Meski begitu, ia mengakui masih banyak koperasi yang belum berjalan optimal.
“Empat bulan ke depan kita akan fokus pada tiga penguatan utama: kelembagaan, SDM, dan usaha. Semua dilakukan secara kolaboratif antara kabupaten, camat, dan desa. Hasil Rakor ini akan menjadi dasar penyusunan kebijakan strategis, termasuk kemungkinan lahirnya regulasi baru dari bupati,” ungkap Elon.
Ia menambahkan, terdapat tujuh jenis unit usaha yang bisa dikembangkan koperasi desa, mulai dari toko sembako, apotek, klinik desa, logistik, hingga kerja sama dengan perbankan dan sektor pangan.
Sementara itu, Wakil Bupati Kuningan, Tuti Andriani, menyoroti kendala permodalan yang masih dihadapi koperasi. Ia mendorong agar koperasi desa menjalin kemitraan dengan Dapur Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) yang kini sudah berdiri di sejumlah desa dan kecamatan.
“Kolaborasi dengan Dapur MBG akan membuka peluang besar. Dengan modal yang terbatas, koperasi bisa langsung terlibat dalam penyediaan bahan pangan bergizi untuk masyarakat. Inilah yang sejalan dengan arahan Presiden, bahwa koperasi desa harus hadir sebagai solusi nyata,” tegas Tuti.
Melalui Rakor ini, Pemkab Kuningan berharap gerakan koperasi desa merah putih tidak hanya terbentuk secara administratif, tetapi benar-benar tumbuh menjadi penggerak ekonomi kerakyatan di tingkat desa.(RI)
