183 Desa di Kuningan Belum Miliki Gerai KDMP, Kadis Toni Ungkap Kendala Lahan dan Anggaran Desa Terbatas

sabakuningannews.com.KUNINGAN – Program strategis nasional Koperasi Desa Merah Putih (KDMP) terus didorong implementasinya di Kabupaten Kuningan. Namun hingga saat ini, masih terdapat ratusan desa yang belum memiliki gerai koperasi akibat berbagai kendala, terutama soal lahan dan kapasitas ekonomi.
Kepala Dinas Koperasi, Perdagangan, dan Perindustrian (Diskoperindagperin) Kabupaten Kuningan, Toni Kusmanto, AP., M.Si.,menyampaikan bahwa dari total 376 desa dan kelurahan, seluruhnya telah memiliki kelembagaan koperasi secara operasional.
“Secara kepengurusan dan kelembagaan, seluruh desa sudah terbentuk. Namun untuk pembangunan gerai KDMP, masih ada sekitar 183 lokasi yang belum memiliki gerai,” ujarnya.
Menurut Toni, kendala terbesar yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan lahan. Tidak semua desa memiliki lokasi yang siap digunakan untuk pembangunan gerai koperasi.
Selain itu, beberapa desa sebenarnya memiliki lahan, namun terkendala biaya tinggi untuk pengurukan tanah. Sementara itu, kemampuan anggaran desa masih terbatas.
“Beberapa lokasi membutuhkan biaya besar untuk pengurukan lahan. Ini menjadi tantangan tersendiri karena tidak semua desa memiliki kemampuan anggaran yang memadai,” jelasnya.
Tantangan Skala Ekonomi Desa Kecil
Permasalahan lain juga muncul dari sisi kapasitas ekonomi desa. Desa dengan jumlah Kepala Keluarga (KK) di bawah 500 dinilai menghadapi tantangan dalam menentukan jenis usaha yang berkelanjutan.
Hal ini menjadi perhatian penting agar gerai KDMP tidak hanya berdiri, tetapi juga mampu bertahan dan berkembang.
Strategi Diskoperindagperin Kuningan
Untuk mengatasi berbagai kendala tersebut, Diskoperindagperin Kabupaten Kuningan tengah menyiapkan sejumlah strategi, di antaranya:Pemetaan konteks bisnis desa agar selaras dengan program nasional KDMP, Analisis potensi lokal, seperti sektor pertanian, kesehatan, simpan pinjam, hingga produksi, Pelibatan UMKM lokal melalui proses kurasi oleh pengurus koperasi
Wacana koperasi sekunder, yakni penggabungan beberapa desa untuk mengatasi keterbatasan lahan dan skala ekonomi
“Kami mendorong agar bisnis yang dijalankan sesuai potensi desa masing-masing tanpa mematikan pelaku usaha yang sudah ada,” tambah Toni.
Fokus pada Keberlanjutan Usaha
Lebih lanjut, Toni menekankan bahwa keberhasilan program KDMP tidak hanya diukur dari jumlah gerai yang berdiri, tetapi juga dari keberlanjutan usaha koperasi itu sendiri.
“Yang terpenting adalah menjaga kontinuitas bisnis. Jangan hanya semangat di awal, tapi kemudian berhenti di tengah jalan,” pungkasnya.(RI)
